What size should the flame arrestor be on a stock 454/330? The arrestors on my engines appear to be undersized- I haven't measured but they look to be about 6". It appears an upgrade is in order....

It's all in how you treat your drive. I can tell you a stock 330 will break a 1997 bravo 3 if the drive is abused. I don't slam the throttles forward at idle, but I have twisted a driveshaft...
