Yes, spacer puts the drive deeper in the water. Probably find one in classifieds, comes with the longer bolts.

1999, 502, labbed prop, trailer, 243 hrs, mint cond, 33K. I couldn't believe how bad the market was until now. I even had some jerk try to convince me to sell it for 17K!!

hp500, we loved the boat, sad to see it go, only 237hrs!! with 2 kids playing travel ball every weekend, we never used it. Maybe in a few years we'll be in the market for a clean 31' Sonic...:D

I just sold my 1999 280 / 502. Immac cond. 240 hrs. End of season and the market is brutal. Some guy on ebay tried to convince me to take 17K!! Jerk. Still gave it away. Since I'm in NY, no one knows...
