I had a 39 with 525's and with Herring propellers...

I had a 39 with 525's and with Herring propellers it did 91 MPH. With the Mercury props it did 88 MPH. It is a great boat!

I have a 2006 Nor Tech 39 V with 525's. I live in Miami and I keep the boat inside at Grove Harbour Marina. I need hurricane coverage! Any thoughts on my options?

A couple of months ago I priced a Myco for my Nor-Tech 39 V and it was about $ 15,000 +/- for aluminum. I think they also had a price increase since then.

$ 22,000 sounds cheap for that boat in Miami.

A friend of mine has a 2005 Nor Tech 36 Cat with 525's and just renewed for $ 21,000 a year with wind coverage. Was $9,000!
