similar issue! what did you end up doing?

I am experienceing same issue on my formula 400 with twin 525's - 1 of my engines will only throttle up to 4000rpm. i was thinking fuel filter as the other engine runs fine. How did your sutuation...

So then that begs the question- why? What was/is the thinking behind the 600's as a power-plant? Surely not for the extra 2-3 MPH- what am I missing?

based on the number "Juked" mentioned - The 525's seem to be the value then at 63mph- Just don't take a party out with you at speed and the twin 525s will keep within eye sight of the twin 600's...

A 400SS with 525's runs up to 59-60 mph on smooth water with the wind and 5 people. With these 600's, the xtra 7-8 mph costs almost 5K per each MPH over the 525's. I am not sure if the leap is...
