Re: Real Pirates Attacking Cruise Ship

I've had some bigger boats outrun me before, but never a cruise ship. :drink: That would really be embarrassing. LOL. JB[/QUOTE]

My thoughts exactly! Just what the hell kind of propulsion system...

Re: New Richie Zul banner on OSO

Congrats on the new banner ad Richie!

Without a doubt, those were some of the sweetest engine packages I've ever seen, hope you don't mind me snatching a few. :D

Re: Dana exhast?

Yes. :D

Plus, I need room to squeeze in a pair of diverters at some point. (the natives are getting a little bothered where I boat) I still enjoy having the option of an 'unmuffled symphony'...

Re: Bonding Deck/Hull??

That's what I did (tape, minus the thru-bolts) on the Martini project years ago. The factory did a great job in glassing them together but I took it a step further and made strategic cutouts behind...

Re: trim tabs on 24' boat?

Jon, buy the pumps, you won't regret it! Especially on a narrow beam boat.

What if you powder coated the tabs the same colour as the hull to 'blend' them in better, if you really want a 'tidier'...

Re: Trim Tab Size Question

I have to agree and disagree with Fred :evilb:

The 280's are 19" (+ or - 1/4")

I really like longer tabs too since you don't have to deploy them as far to get the desired results, meaning less...

Re: Anyone added a pad to an older V-bottom?

Ian, that's a serious speed increase :D

You didn't mention tabs but you have mentioned hull 'efficiency'. Since tab are essentially an extension of the hull have you tried a longer tab on your...

Victory to the rescue!

I design/build electromech. trim tab systems for any and all applications. From your description it sounds like you may have the Bennett system. They use a 3" pipe nipple...

Re: Selecting Trim Tabs

Personally, I wouldn't own a boat without trim tabs (yes, even if I didn't design and build them :D ) It just adds so much more control and flexibility to even the most 'well balanced' hulls.

What I can tell you is the part that will be malfunctioning will not be 'inside' the...
