Re: Mercury Revolution 4

My 236 Rinker has a 600+ hp 496 in it, and I've ran both a 25 mirage plus, and a 25 Rev 4. If you didn't know which prop was on, you would never know the difference. I actually run 50 rpm more...

Re: Gapless rings

Re: Inconnel exaust valves..........

If I had to go all in between a valve going bad or a roller lifter, I'd take the lifter. Paid the price for a lifter twice, valve once.(but it was an intake) Still have the piston, valve head looks...

Though I'm not a Metalurgical Engineer, I do weld in Nuclear powerplants almost every day. Been doing it for 20 years since the U.S Navy gave me the education. This includes stainless and exotic...

Re: Inconnel exaust valves..........

It does make you want to bounce your head off the table a few times doesn't it?? There are many, many, many marine motors running every day without inconnel valves. Just good ol' stainless valves....

Re: Inconnel exaust valves..........

The beginning of this question started because I had a 1050 Dominator with a set of square port heads off of my Chevelle that I didn't need anymore. I don't race it anymore, so I figured I would put...

Re: Sideways Carbs?...discuss

Clearance, I don't believe you can fit double pumper holley's end to end, or any holley with a center hung fuel bowl. This is assuming you are mounting two carbs on a tunnel ram. :chimp:

Re: Inconnel exaust valves..........
