Raylar BCK-103 Kit Installation

I am purchasing the Raylar 103 Kit. Top end kit only, I am keeping the crank, rods and pistons. I am a pretty skilled and detailed mechanic, however I am no Merc tech.

How much HP to a rack steering system?

How much HP can you put to a Teleflex Rack type steering set up with a brand new Bravo 1 drive saftley?

I have a 496 Mag and I am going to do some internal upgrades and bring it up to 500HP-525HP....

I forgot to pump out the water using the provided hand pump on my 496 last night. It got down to 26 degrees from 3am to 7am.
I know the block has anti freeze in it- no worries.

For the first time the gear lube bottle was pretty low- below the float and the Smartcraft sent a code.

It is a 496 Mag Standard with 168 hours on it. No other codes tripped. I do run a Corsa Diverter with internal exhuast flaps and they are very noisy and vibrate...

I have a 496 mag and I have noticed that on some models/years of the 496 the serpentine belt is routed differently. Any ideas, reasons or changes to the engine that Merc has made??

When loosening the serpentine belt on the 496 Mag where do you start? The manual says "loosen the 5/8" locking nut on the adjustment stud"
