I have a 1996 27' Fountain Fever with 700 HP. Fastest I ran is 86.4 mph on gps. This year upgraded to BMax upper an fastest has been 84.3 mph on gps.

What I ended up with is purchasing a Wii wrist...

What I ended up with is purchasing a Wii wrist strap and attaching the loop to the hook on the lanyard. It has the easy to use lock to keep it on your wrist.

My wife does not boat often. She will come along if we are going to get something to eat and/or taking friends out for a ride. I to like to go fast but try to refrain when wife is on board.

It was not easy. Starting in 2010 I did run it up for very short bursts. The problem happened when running WOT for about, and I am guessing, 2 miles.

I now can run WOT as long as conditions...
