if you have denso plugs, replaced them w/ ac delco or ngk no matter what they look like. we had a run of 496s with idle/miss/power problems and no codes and plugs were usually the culprit. good luck

have to scan to be sure. If it only comes on above 3000 rpm could be a code 44 knock sensor. if above and below 3000 rpm have seen alot of H20 pressure sensors go bad.
