My 427's were naturally aspirated. idled at 850, slip in gear and feather throttle to stay at 850 then when you take it out of gear it jumps to 1800 and you have get off the throttle and wait for it...

I would think motown blocks and heads can't weigh much more than chevys. i'm running stainless marine dry exhaust,so i might have been lighter before the pro chargers and 504 intercoolers.

I'm pretty sure that with the original fuel injection when you put it in gear,the fuel injection automatically keeps the idle set so you don't have to play with the throttles.Im hoping to put FAST...

I would stick with the first equation, i ran 500 horse 427's for a couple years and ran 95ish at 6000 rpm. Now i have 650 horse 434's with pro chargers. I'm still running the blackhawks without a lot...

434" motown smallblocks. i saw the dyno pulls with my own eyes. 740 hp @ 6000 rpm and climbing. only run 6000 rpm in the boat anyways, no reason to go futher.

i'm running stainless marine with dry pipes on procharged 434's.made 725hp with drag car headers on the dyno. bolted my manifolds on to see how much i would lose . i gained 15hp !

that p31 looks great . i'm sure it runs strong with 750's . is that hull lighter than a regular 31 . i guess it would run in the 90's somewhere . i still like the p29's better but i'm partial.

i never heard of a p31 . is that a regular 31 that scarab painted special for a client like a p29 , same as the 38 i've seen on here.
