it sounds like faulty iac be sure to replace the filter as well as far as watching the iac move on the scan tool you can only see where the pcm wants it to be not where it actually is

they are probably the y pipe flaps and not the corsa flaps as the corsa flaps are metal and to large to fall down the y pipe
by not running the y pipe flaps you could risk water ingestion

4mula, Most were under 50 hr. oil changes we use merc. 25-40. merc did not come up w/a root problem nor did they deny any warranty all were covered

All merc specs are @ the prop we have seen 10 6.2l throw rods under normal use in the last 3 years. Hours ranged between 15-300. merc says we are the only ones having this issue has any one else seen...

Merc had some issues w the shift cable gaket leaking @ the bell housing allowing water into the shift linkage cavity causing the linkage to rust pull the drive and the rear cover to inspect

The adapter and the reciever may not be compatable with that head unit for some reason sony made a few different adapters and recievers that only work with certain head units
