Got the boat back today...dlr said a bunch of Mercruiser's got out of the factory with a couple wires in the harness...switched them and bingo...haven't river tested it yet...goin camping this...

yeah....that's what my merc manual says too...however with the drive oil full...shouldn't be doing that....my boat runs WOT at 4800 now(only 13 hours) seems to do it after running for a while....also...

I just purchased a 07 28 HEAT. I love the boat other than those damn warning horns. The warning buzzer goes off twice quickly, waits a couple mins and does it again. When I go to WOT it stays on...
