In addition to my sonic I have a 1990 270 sundancer with a single 340 hp 7.4 1.50 Bravo 1 drive
WIth the 15 P 3 blade prop that the seller just
threw on there I am getting 5500 rpm wot in fresh...

so I am cruising along at about 3k rpm when stbd engine starts sputtering and quits.
So far checked water fuel seperator and no water. Fuel pressure from mech pump about 7 psi to carb.

To stat or not to stat that is the question

I have 454 with pro chargers and cross over kits.
The T stat housing just has two ports each to x manifold.
At the crossover there is a bypass to the intetcooler.
It had no stats when I bought it....

Water in merc trans ( trs drive)

How does water get into a merc trans (TRS drive)and push out the ATF. the transmission was full of water. I removed and pressure tested the cooler and it is tight. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the input,

That is just what Island Racing in N Hero said, get forged pistons, bigger rods,balance, Iconel exhaust valves then check tune on dyno.

At least I will only have to do it...
