I LOVE the look of this setup but it doesn't seem very safe? I'm guessing the coupling about 12" from the tip would be a flapper? But when the engines are shut down wouldn't there be water sitting on...

I think it would be more practical if you can make the power you want/need keeping the motors NA. Boost just kills rotory reliability and making high HP would be a real challenge to quiet those...

I would think the best place to pull from would be the coolest place you can find and should be before your other systems. The fuel even when "heated" should still be cooler than anything else...
