One other thing, my mpg corrected for tire size (265's) is 13mpg empty. You have to correct for tire size because bigger tires travel further than is indicated on the odometer. Bigger tires also...

I've got an 04 ext cab 2500HD with 6.0 and 2wd. I've have 40K some miles on it. No problems. No issues with pulling power. I routinely pull a gooseneck trailer that weighs empty alittle over 4000lbs...

Of course some performance gain is a secondary...

Of course some performance gain is a secondary consideration. I realize it will be slight. And from what I've found the Demon will be slightly better in fuel economy than the Holley.
