just checked the transom and stringers [alls good],its just the engine and sterndrive thats offset ,all the fabrication work is first class, so i suspect the builder had good hand skills but no tape...

yes but do yourself a favour by borrowing a dial guage . whip your rocker covers and inlet manifold off,then loosen your rockers and take your pushrods out .set the dial guage up in the valley...
