Alpha 1 ratio question....

The upper housing in my Alpha 1 is damaged beyond repair. It is a 1989 5.0LX. I am reading that there are 1.98/1.71 ratios and 1.5/1.47 ratios, and the V8 needs the 1.5/1.47 ratio.

Where would I find a replacement skeg for a TRS drive? Did I read someone on here used a bravo skeg on TRS? Is that even do-able? Thanks!

What's the best way to loosen/disconnect 4 inch exhaust hose that has not been removed in 25+ years? I cannot get it to budge off of my old manifolds or captains choice:mad:.

That is interesting. When I told Imco mine had the bungs on the ends they said the first bracket would not work. I believe them cause it the pump's going to have to move up or out at least 1.5 inches...

Yep. I called Imco and they have the cure. My manifolds are the older style with bungs on each end. The bracket you used is for the newer style without the bungs. I have to use the lower bracket...
