Hi All,
I'm chasing a pair of carbs to suit my supercharged 500" big block.
I'm running an 8-71 BDS blower and need a pair of 4150 carbs around 950cfm, Holley HP/XP, QFT, BG Demons, Proform, APD...

Steve, the 525 is based on a 502 block isn't it? (502ci +.030) so that crank/pistons won't fit a 454...

The riser length is the issue.

The Mag Cam in the Gen 6 454 is the Crane 621 or similar in profile from memory.

The only real solution is to put long tail risers on which are still compatible...

That should do fine. Just plumb those upper two outlets on the t-piece to the inlets on the lower sides of the EMIs. I'd also suggest a 1/8" hole drilled in the t-stat to ensure flow to the manifolds...

Your set-up should be fine. With an LSA of 114 there shouldn't be issues.

I had a similar setup on a 468 with 112 LSA and that had issues!

The Crane 731 runs 114 as well without drama.
