Hi ashipshow, I'm not an expert but I'm running 496 hos with drop tubes and strainers. Never had a low pressure alarm with this setup other than when running on a hose that didn't have enough supply....

Yes you can keep the aaginaw style using the sealed caps. Since you don't need a large reservoir- have two on pumps- a small one will work....

Go high, the location will provide enough slack when drives are all the way up. Use extreme black 33c cables they handle bends better- 4" radius I believe.
