i would change the impeller every season or after each season. I do it every 100 hr or 1 time a year cheap insurance.

Do you have a thermostat or crossover ? I would check thermostat. also if you have a cooling hose easy to access take it off make sure its pumping.

Yamaha shield awesome keeps every thing looking clean and new. I use it alot on outboards and dont see a problem on an inboard keep off belts tho.

on the boat my friend had 24 pnd it gained 2 mph and you had to feather the throttle in to get it to plane id leave it alone and get more hp or prop work. just my 2 cents

its missing the drive but hull is solid needs one stringer...
