bravo one question

last time out last year i lost the lower unit on my outdrive and when i say "lost" i mean it seems like something in there let go and it took out the lower case ,everything is gone on the lower...

End of the season last year my outdrive let go so im looking for a new one now and im unsure of what i had and what to get or what is better . i think i had a rh but the prop is no longer with us so...

breaking up after 75 % throttle

i have a formula 242 with 502 / bravo , the motor runs well at lower rpms 3800 and lower but when i get into anything over that the motor feels like its surging give even more juice it will bog down...

i run a 23 mirage non plus on my 242 . i see about 66 mph (gps) @5200 with 3-4 people and and a half tank of fuel but thats with a 502 with about 475 hp

happpen to me 2 years ago in my 502 only problem it was one behind the block inside the bellhousing so the motor had to be pulled ,replaced it and all was good no other damage alot of work for a 10...

oil reservoir on 242

anyone know what size is the outdrive oil reservoir on a 91 242 with a 502/bravo 1 ? mine is leaking and i was looking at at the billet ones just not sure of the size

my bravo 1 drive will only go up if i use the trailer switch , checked the switch and jumped it out still nothing i do have 12 volts @the switch
