I had the exact same question (for Pensacola area). I have gone with two of the standard flushing kits BUT I have not installed them yet. How do I determine the inflow/outflow from the raw seapump?...

I've order two Diamond standard flushing kits (one for each motor). Man, the raw water pumps are "buried" in the engine bay! Is there some indicator on the pump as to which side/hose is the inlet...

The kits I am finding all seem to come with a valve (except Mercruiser) to isolate the drive unit. I would like to eliminate/not use the valve, as it seems to over complicate your simple method...

Where do you get a garden hose fitting with a plug and/or an inline valve to close off the garden hose leg when not in use?
