Thanks for the info .. That could save me a step in looking for the correct prop for my boat. I was looking at a 28P . So I guess I need to look at a 27P Mirage Plus or a 26P bravo 1.

Just made one bad prop choice .. Looking to demo a few so I can find out what this boat likes. Will buy a prop after I get more educated. !

Yea High pitch whine ... also I dont know if this is common but if I trim drive allthe way up ( like when flushing after use ) it clunks at idle but does not do that trimmed down.

Anybody have a feel for 4 blade bravo1 props? My 23' SCS pulls to 5k rev limit fast with the 25p Mirage Plus. I tried a 29P 3 blade and found it was too much prop. How does a 28P 4 blade bravo1...

Mine does wabble at high speed until I trim down a touch then I loose a few MPH until I bring nose back up. Someone said it may be loose steering. If I grab the drive while out of water I can pull it...

The company I purchaced it from had the computer worked on and beter flowing manifolds. Thats it so far. Hope to add a procharger in the next couple of months.

So the factory numbers also dont make it as well 75.1 hmmm .. Them damn engineers at Wellcraft musta left their calculaters home that day .. Call them up and educate them :-)

Hey Kent I sense a bit of sarcasm :-) Here is the deal the 23' Scarab SCS is not the 22' Scarab. Very different boat.
Occasionally a boat that does not have Fountain or Donzi on the side sends...

I would agree. 76 has been on 1/2 tank and just me in the boat. The thing launches hard and goes to the red line fairly fast. I would like to swap my Marage Plus 25P for a 29P and see if I am still...

I have a 97 23' Scarab SCS with a 502 and it runs 76 on gps all stock w/25p prop. at sea level. http://www.isphub.net/wayne/scarab.htm
