One thing I would do is turn the motor a few revolutions make shure the tie bars don't bind the set that I had here where not bent rite. And also look at where the buttons rub the bars see if there...

The buttons are soft and the link bar wore...

The buttons are soft and the link bar wore through them. Look at the rest of the link bars I had that happen to another motor same thing. Those lifters are junk.
