Some will be "beaching" in weeds but they are soft weeds . There is still a 2" layer of mud where we walk so I would advise bringing a pair of boots to slip on when out of your boat . 100 yards north...

For those with smaller boats coming from the north Wethersfield Cove is a nice place to launch . A 5 mile trip south to Pizza Beach and a 5 mile trip north to Hartford .
