When I went from a 1.5 and a 32 pitch prop...to a 1.34 and a 28 pitch prop...I picked up 3 mph, and the boat handled much better.

The larger pitched props have the blade surface of the prop more...

You can only get the 700 with either a NXT or #6 drive.

One was built near me with a 700/NXT package...and it doesnt handle very well.

Because when the boat is sitting in the water....the waterline does not go all the way to the front of the boat....there are a couple of feet (aproximately) of nose sticking forward from the point...

But it was lighter than a big block boat also.

You need the front of the opening deeper into the nose...the taper where it gets narrow at the front...should be the same width as the rest of the notch...not narrowing.

ie...the water should be...
