Dave, forum member motor's estimated pressure readings at idle is correct. The MPI Merc engines run at a very low [ 600 ] rpm, so there's volume but not much pressure buildup after the seawater pump....

We still run the same setup since the 2009 post! Engine still runs great, no issues with reversion!
Aluminum risers like ones from Kodiak Marine have the anti reversion dam into the castings....
