my 260 is the same way. I never really noticed it that much until I put a tie bar between the two drives. I had it to the shop last winter to have the gimbal brg's, bellows and trim senders done....

I dont think it would make that much of a difference. The pipes are not all that long and there isnt much backpressure If any. I have 4" pipes on the Stinger and it just makes it louder and rumbles...
