Tom, email me and I can send you back a pic of mine, it's an '83 though. If you send me a pic of your dash layout, I'll look through my Stinger pics to see if I've got one that shows one like yours in really good shape. The dummy (me ) that started collecting Stinger pics for interior/paint ideas didn't bother to put the year and model of the boat on the pics when they were saved, so I don't know for sure if I've got one for and '87 or not!

Im currently finishing up restoring my dash panels. I took them apart, sanded and painted them, put all new boots on the switches and replaced the fuse holders. Now I just need to put the new labels on the switches and install it. It really cleans up the look and Its cheaper than having one made. Dan

Angry switch cover and dash panel

Huron,
Where did you find the clear covers for your dash switches.
I have been able to find black, but if I could get clear I could use a switch with a light in it and it should show with the clear cover.
Who ever had the boat befor me re-designed the dash as a flat panel and all the gauges point straight-up and I have to lean way over them and look down. I was depressed when I lifted it and saw where they had cut-out the old one that was at and angle. Then I was even more upset when I saw all the clipped wires that I am going to have to figure out where they all go, looks like a purple, blue. black, and green explosion under there, lol
I may try my hand at fiberglassing the old panel the way it was meant to be this winter.
