I just had seats built by PPI...

did not have any suspension stuff put in them, but rest assured, you will find no better quality anywhere, so far as I am concerned.

Did it all over the phone, email, and mail, no in-person...

I talked to Bill at ATECO and he recommended...

based upon what I want to do (I want torque and reliability), that I go .060 over and use a stroker crank resulting in a 496 cube engine.

I think I like this idea.

Any comments on this...

On the one piece, they are marked on the back LH and RH.

For LH rotation, the suction hose goes on the one marked LH, and vice versa for RH rotation.

Are the 454 and 502 Blocks the same? Can I use a 502 as a direct replacement?

Also, my 454 is a 1989. Can I use the exhaust, sea pump, alternator and power steering brackets on a 502.

I was good until I read the last post...

I was going to run the tube to the flame arrestor, with a fitting directly into the top of the flame arrestor, but that means it will have a vacuum on it.

So is that concept ok?

I think I can deal with the exhaust. I did not think about the fuel return, but I can deal with that also. Mostly concerned with engine mounts being in the proper location for engine to outdrive...
