I did contact the organizers, and they will allow us with Aeromarine 3 to race in class C1 (open). There are already 4 other Cigarettes( he did not want to tell which) showing interest in the race....

On the issue in 1972 and the new engines with open-chamber heads at the CTC, how was it technically solved enabling you to race? I assume the "legally" old engines had closed chamber head...

You misunderstood this one.We bought the Aero 3 in favour of the Dry Martini because Aero 3 was supposely lighter and faster. And yes I also think Magoon picked the best boat and rigging,...

Yes they are impressive and the same configuration as the Can-Am setup GM used. Rumers say they are from Crower but all over there is Kiekhaefer casting marks. We might go with todays...

Exactly Marco, thats my question , a Cigarette/Halter is listed for the 1978 season, then "Bounty Hunter 3" is listed for the 1979 season,then "Fayva Shoes" in the 1980 season, then "Halter Racing"...

Top Banana, is it safe to assume that :

"Bounty Hunter 1" was a 40 ft Cigarette
"Bounty Hunter 2" was a 35 ft Cigarette
"Bounty Hunter 3" was a 39 ft Cigarette, kevlar with round deck
