Nice sit down ski/lake/river boat, not good in rough water. It will be insanely fast (for what it is) with a 454 mag in it.Over 70 MPH (72-73) out of the box.

Believe you're right. Mines a '97 boat rigged late '96. Gen VI 502 Mag, VST, V belts. Had the Gil's on 16 years. Starting to get a little nervous wondering what they look like inside.

If you have one,Top back starboard side. Green/yellow/clear hoses coming off it. Vapor saturation tank, only used a short time before cool fuel was out. Glad you're running strong now.

My point is with the boxed construction the inside isn't painted, never was. What you can't see can be/is deadly. If it has been in salt water even once you can accelerate that process dramatically....

The trailer looks like it's been stripped too. No fenders or running boards, not likely the lights or wiring is good, tires, brakes....Its a boxed or tube frame that's likely rotten from the inside...

Replace the ICM in the distributor cap. Had the same issue, swore it was fuel related. That is about a 100 hour part, or mine looks burnt up around then. Good luck.
