I have played with this a little... I think it all depends on drive gears, prop, horse power, and fat people vs skinny people . I own a 27' Profile. When I bought the boat it had a 502 with a B&M...

What manifolds are you running... I fond a leak...

What manifolds are you running... I fond a leak between my manifold and my riser.. It leaked down in between the black.. what had happened was I tightend down the riser to much and caused the middle...

I was forwarded this thread from a friend who saw me go through some of this... I bought a boat with a 502 with a 250 B&M on her. I leaned out and blew the blow off plate on the side of the manifold...

My floor is still stiff, but has the crack up by the cuddy door. I have to get all the cracks fixed before I sell it. I should be able to do this my self I hope?

Wow, Kind of wished I know this before I bought my 96 27' Thats ok It seems my transom has not leaked yet. But I have cracks in the floor of the cockpit area and on each coner by the wind deflector.....
