Volvo Outdrive Help!
I need help with a Volvo outdrive. It will trim up but when it goes into reverse the outdrive pops up out of the water. I have not tried forward. What is wrong and how do I fix it? Does anyone have a manual? I am not familiar with this drive.

Exactly what Volvo outdrive is it ?
IF it is a 270/280 without trim and the process you describe as 'trim it up' is just 'tilt it up' I would say that the reverse lock mechanism needs adjustment. In these 2 drives this is common and easy to fix.
