Temp. range of a Volvo 496 HO...

Temp. range of a Volvo 496 HO...
I am assuming the Merc and the Volvo should have the same operating tempature range...The motor is brand new (2005) with almost 50 hrs on it. Fresh water cooled...She runs great I am just curious what Temp range she should be in from idling to wot....

The temp readings between Merc, & Volvo may be different being that Merc. runs there 496 motor in a closed cooling system not fresh water. My Merc. 496 runs around 160 all day long maybe around 170 after a long run, yours may differ with the temp of your lake...
