I may have to use a Dodge truck for a 30 mile haul (9-10K lbs).
1500 quad cab 4x4, 5.7 hemi w/ 20 inch wheels. Anyone know the ratings, or tow with this rig?

7400 or 8400 depending on what ratio you got...

you will be over the tow rating and the gcwr of the truck towing that much....

thanks but I figured I'd be over. I'm just curious if it will have significant problems. The trailer pulls well and has triple Disk brakes so stopping shouldn't be too bad.

Russ ive been towing the TG for short distances with mine and its been ok. Knock on wood. Take your time and pay attention, uphill it struggles some. I have the 3.92 ratio.

the tow rating is correct. i would just be very careful and you should be fine.waterheater what is the short distance you tow. towwing the tg seems like alot for the truck but i love it. that makes me feel better about my truck.

I mostly tow about about 500 feet to the ramp. But i have towed a few times to my mechanic, about 15+- miles , on secondary roads, and the interstate, and have been ok. Will change setup in the spring.
