Took out the drain to the anchor locker out today on my 29 Outlaw and noticed some moisture in the cavity between the interior of the hull and the anchor locker. I stuck my finger in there and some stuff that did not resemble rotton wood came out. What could it be? If it is foam or backing material, what would be the correct repair?

Did you make sure that the anchor locker drain tube is attached??

it was attached, just looks like the sealant failed.

Don't know if it could happen on a 29, but I once owned an H2X that had a water leak around the bow light and cleat. I gobbed up the backside with sealer, and the problem went away.
