Default Engine Builders - Charlotte NC

Looking for someone to finish a 496. I have all the parts (heads, CAM, ect), just need it assembled.

What is the turn around time??

I'm surprised by the lack of replies!
I used to deal with CRD when I was runnin' NASCAR craftsman trucks, he also did some SCCA stuff for a friend of mine. I don't know how busy he is or if he even does marine but you can call him 704-794-1955 Bob

I took mine to Dell Marine in Jacksonville, because of the lack of engine builders in the area.

Give Kevin a call 904-730-9968. He is completely rebuilding my port 500 efi.

Thanks Steel.. I just called him.. Sounds like his prices are reasonable and his turn around time is quick.

I also am surprised at the lack of responses. I figured someone out there would be willing to take the $$ and run..

Ditto....Kevin at Dell is just finishing up some engine work for me. Great guy, great reputation.

There are literally hundreds of engine builders in the Charlotte area, but most are so busy, it normally takes about a month or two just to get on their schedule. There are to many to list, and a lot of boaters here often build there own with a little help of a friend or 2.
