In the next year or so, I'll be in the market looking at this size range (give or take a couple feet), moving up from a 22. I'm not looking for too much $$$ since I don't plan on keeping this boat for more than a few years. Ideally, I'd like to hit speeds of 70+.

I'm looking around 50K give or take. I;ve seen lots of Fountain, Donzi and Baja's listed at that range, but I'm open to any brand. I'm looking for something that has good resale value, well-built and dependable, while still giving good performance (70+), and preferrably less than 10 yrs old

VERY well built boats, handle rough water great!!

is a cabin important? do you prefer stand up bolsters or sit downs? there are many boats to choose from in that price range. a 32 fountain may be out of your price range. for another 10k, you could get a 30 superboat y2k brand new with a 496. look at Panteras, activators, kryptonites, sunsation to name a few.
