Guys i have just made a replacement flame arrestor out of a block of ABS plastic. Just cut to shape on the dropsaw,6" wide,4" high and 4" long. Drilled it out with 2.5" hole sew on the drill press. Drilled countersunk mounting holes on the drill press. Bolted it on and then screwed a 6" diameter K&N filter plate to the end. Had to bore that out as well and then put the filter on with a hose clip. Works great and flows heaps. Seems to breath better at top end. Whole thing cost $20 plus the filter and took 2 hours to make. Hope this helps some one some day. Jason
