I've been looking at a 2003 38' fountain te and need some feedback on the boat, good or bad. I currently have a 2002 28' HydraSports Vector, it's a great boat, but not long enough for me and is a bouncey ride.

I have a 2006 38TE. For this size of boat you can not beat the performance and comfort. However this is notthe lace t ask abot this type of boat since no one else here owns one but me.
Go check out www.thehulltuth.com that is a fish boat place.
I will tell you this...make sure you get a 38te with the extra 125 gallon front fuel tank and make sure you get one with the bench style bolsters and not just a leaning post. You will need the extra fuel tank and to ride in comfort at the high speeds this boat is capable of you will need the extra sides and back of the electric bench/bolster seat. Also stay away from any of these boats with 250 efi's unless you plan on carrying on the boat 15-20+ gallons of oil everytime you go out. I have 275 Verado's and would never go back to a 2-stroke with a boat like this.
good luck

Rush, I did not know there was another 38TE owner on OSO....wild. You should be able to sel your boat for around that price. The 225 Opti's are a whole lot better on oil and fuel than the 250efi.
