Default 34 Fountain cc or 35 Donzi cc triple eng

I am thinking about selling my 28 Skater and going with a center console If I am going to Slow down in a cc I want to do it as fast as possible. What kinds of real speeds will you see with either a Donzi 35 or a Fountain 34 both with triple 225-250hp..Which one has a better ride.I have owned a 10 meter fountain which handled very well in the rough water, what about the cc ? Any feedback on either of these boats would be appreciated.

i use to work closley with a local Donzi dealer and the ZF is a fantastic boat. very well layed out and i think you will have a more room than the Fountain. both great boats though.

Triple 250xs Fountain is a 73-74 mph boat. Not sure about the Donzi but I doubt it will be as fast as that. Have you looked at the Spectre 34? 72 mph with trip 275s. I just sold my 47 Lightning and I am going in the same direction as you. Good luck.

Donzi all the way. I love the way a ZF rides.

Actually the 34 Fountain has more room than the 35 Donzi. The Fountain beam is much wider and the boat is deeper. The Fountain is very well balanced with twins or triples.

Both are great boats but they are also very different too. If you want a ride in a 38TE I am in Tampa. My boat might be going up for sale soon too...just not sure yet.
see ya, Mike

the 38 beak with triples will run close to 80 if not. the 38 with quads will run 84 -85. the 35 with trips is almost as fast, but twins will be more than adequate. the donz is nice but not as rugged from my experience. if your interested in a fountain p.m me i can get you the right deal.
