Default 600 hp in a Formula 37SS? B3 Question

Considering dropping 600hp engines into a super sport one day. What is the max hp the Bravo III can withstand? Would the hull handle 1200 hp? How fast do we think she would go?

Ideas other than that I'm crazy!

I just built 600+ HP motors and have thought about how they would perform in the 400SS. I hope someone has some feedback to your questions as it might effect what I do in a few years.

BTW: You can put a Bravo 1 XR upper on a bravo III lower.....

I know there have been 400SS built with new Merc 600's. Don't know the specs but someone here should. I would guess the 37 to be 2-3 MPH faster than the 40 with the same 600 power.

I did talk to a guy that had 500hp's in a 37ss. He said that the boat did VERY well. My guess is the boat can handle it no problem. The drive I have my doubts but I am sure that some one more familiar than I could tell ya.
