i do i installed a hydromotive nose cone did the blend work and sanded down to bare metal primed and painted they look good my wife saw them and thought i bought a new drive

or automotive base/clear?

I did mine, sanded to bare metal, used a zinc based primer, three coats of that, then sprayed with OMC's silver paint that they used to use on their old saltwater series outboards. I'll try to find some pics. As with everything, the prep was the hardest part.

I did mine also, I bought a single stage paint (Omni I think) It is an Imron knock off. Are you looking at rattle can or spray gun? I just went to an automotive paint store, looked through the paint chips, and found what I liked. I used the rattle can primers, wet sanded and shot the drive.
