John was a great guy, and taught me a lot. He was around this sport for a LONG, LONG time.

RIP John.

What a shame. John was a great guy. I hadn't spoken to him in a long time and he called me Friday. We spoke for almost an hour and we planned on having lunch next week at the Bay Bridge Show.

John was a part of CPBRA for a long time and was an old time racer as well.

He could be a crass S.O.B - some loved him and some couldn't stand him. I really enjoyed him and we busted each others balls constantly. We also both couldn't stand K.B.

One of my best memories was getting blasted at Ruth Chris in Baltimore and him thinking he was going to drive. We then held him up as we walked him over to the truck and put him in the passenger seat!

He was a gentleman and he will be missed. God speed buddy - I will miss ya!
