Default 24 superboat prop selection

I just purchased a 1993 Superboat with a 1994 275 outboard merc. Needs a prop. Am looking for best prop selection for the merc. for all around performance. I plan on installing a jackplate in the future. Any ideas for my summer runs on eastern LI

A 4 blade Trophy plus by Merc is probably the best all around prop on an outboard powered 24' Super.
My guess is around 25p, but that will depend on what gear ratio is in your engine.

Hi Kent, my boat is in Hampton Bays as well, on the s canal.

Anyway, I'll be up that way tomorrow night, when I get a look at my new boat I'll get back with you. Not sure if it is a stepped hull or not. Or if that would matter much at all.
