Question 350 MPI kill switch

Hey guys I just put a 350 MPI engine in my stinger. I have a alpha one drive, that has a momentary kill switch in the shifting linkage for killing the engine when you shift. It did it by grounding the ignition in the carb motor .Now I have the comp.mpi motor .What wire can I use to do this same function. Can I use the kill switch wire back by the dist. Not sure of the wire color. What wire can I use. Don't want to burn anything up.I'm Lost need help. Thanks JOHN

MPI or carb no difference to the kill switch grounding ignition- just wire it back the same as before. If you not sure, have someone help by using a OHM meter while shifting to see which wire does the grounding and use it to ground the ignition as before- My best advice would be to have a qualified mechanic look at this for you !

I had the same problem, what year is your engine?
