I've greased the tracks and the teflon runners well but not much help. The boat is 2001 with 250 hours. Who else has had this problem and how did you fix it? I don't see anything anywhere that is interfering and it does not look easy to take the whole thing apart...thanks for any help.

Silicone is a little slicker, but probably wont last as long as your lithium grease.
BTW, I had to start lubing my door in July and the boat was only 5 months old at that time. I asked the dealer about it and he said, " ya, ya gotta lube um".
I wonder if your guides need to be replaced, 250 hours? Na, they cant be worn out yet.
Also I was told not to cruise with the door open. That the pounding on the water might flex the bottom track. Could yours be off enough to allow the door to shift when open, making it bind up?
Mine is a 31 pc. not sure how different the doors are.

When my 382 was brand new, I found a 10" sliver of fiberglass that had fallen into the track and was creating problems. It was really thin and hard to see... I've always had good luck by cleaning the tracks really, really well and using a small film of silicone grease. Clean is as important as lubed.

Check that all of the guides are tight. Mine loosened up a little and it made it a little hard to slide. I tightened the guides, cleaned the tracks with NO lube and it is back to new again!
