From: Ocean Pines, Maryland. Wish I was at MANGOS in MIAMI!
Spoken to several different riggers on this and I am getting two different answers on how to set up drive rotation on a quad outboard v bottom.
Most popular seems to be left -left (for port side) and right right (for starboard side).
(Better bow lift and more control at docks.)
Also most common gear ratios seem to be 1:75.1 but I have been noticing 1:62.1 on the Merc Speedmasters and Torque Masters.
What's the benefit of the 1:62.1 over the 1:75.1 I heard the later is faster.
and lastely............. I've set up bracket for 30" centers. Again I have been noticing a shift in rigging where 20"s are used for outside engines and 30" for centers.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Tony

not exactly the same but here are two different ways of doing it on a Cary. the Cary with surface drives went In Out In Out. The Cary with TRS it went IN IN Out Out. Please forgive if I got the in/out wrong. Just look at the props.
