Question Peoples Choice, Best Area For Hot Rod Boating

Okay People, I Would Like To Hear From The Masses With Opinions On The Best Places To Reside For The Best All Around Areas For Hot Rod Boating. Cont. Usa Only (this Will Be A Biased Report!) Southeast Fl?? Li-ny?? The Lakes?? West Coast?? I'd Like To See Where The Majority Thinks The Best Hot-rod Offshore Action Lives. Looking For Quality Not Quanity So It Does'nt Have To Be A Year Round' Hot Climate Place, Or Maybe It Does? What Do You Think??

I have to agree. As far as Florida is concerned, it's the best for sure. I haven't done much boating outside of FL, so it's hard to say how it compares nation wide.

As much as I like FL for the weather the Manatee zones just plain old suck. That's why I like our little part of central Jersey...well as far north as you can go in Jersey and still be on the ocean. Rivers, bays and ocean are WOT all the time. Gotta love an area that you can do just about anything you want

------Hi guys,,,We may not have as many nice days but here in the Lake St.Clair area of Mi. but the boating is unbelieveable during the season. From one day to the next in the summer you never know what you are going to see. Hot rod boats in about every other slip, or every slip if its at "Browns" on Harsens Island. As a bonus I never knew how great it would be moving to fresh water 11 years ago. If you cant handle the salt anymore, this is a great place to do your performance boating. Big water and no corrosion! There are 30 year old boats up here that look practically new with only minimal care......Bill S
